Our Program
At Project Reality we view substance abuse as a chronic disease with complex biological, psychological, and social components.
We provide mental health and substance abuse counseling in conjunction with medications. We believe combining therapy, substance abuse counseling and medication with an individual's
commitment to recovery is a highly effective method for achieving the goals of treatment.
We work with each person to identify recovery goals that include:
- Ending the substance abuse
- Improving physical health
- Improving psychological and social functioning
- Improving the ability to support self and family
- Ending illegal activity
The medications we provide (Methadone or Suboxone) will not work without your commitment to change.
Getting better is not easy, but with your hard work it can be achieved. Our statistics show that people who are involved in the counseling/therapy services we provide are much more
likely to succeed at long term recovery than people who do not participate in these services.
Getting Started
All admissions to Project Reality are voluntary and confidential. To quality for services, individuals must first complete an admissions screening process.
Individuals may be screened by telephone, walk-in, or through agency referral. The screening process allows us to collect important information and to make sure Project Reality is right for the individual.
Details of the admissions process will be reviewed during screening. The admissions process for new clients is only done Monday thru Friday.
Paying for Treatment
Fees are set on a sliding scale and funding assistance may be available. A "Self Pay" option is also available. Project Reality accepts Medicaid and other private insurance. Please call for more information.
