Welcome To Project Reality
Since our opening in 1970, Project Reality has served individuals in Utah with a broad range of health issues, including psychiatric and substance use disorders (SUD). In 2020 we attained CCBHC designation from the Substance and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This milestone enabled Project Reality to expand the expertise of its staff and increase its capacity to address immediate and long-term needs of high-risk adults, as well as older adolescents, with any SUDs diagnosis, psychiatric illness, and/or physical health condition not adequately served in traditional healthcare settings.
We serve adults with opioid use disorder who seek lifelong recovery and wellness. We offer buprenorphine, methadone, and naltrexone combined with physical and mental health services to create comprehensive treatment plans. We care about patient safety and well-being and tailor treatment to suit individual needs and desires regardless of income, insurance, or ability to pay.
Due to inadequate social and medical support, patients enrolled at PR have numerous untreated health problems and risks, but with our integrated approach to treatment and prevention that addresses all of the bio-psycho-social aspects of care, they are afforded the opportunity to stabilize and improve the quality of their lives.
We believe in each patient’s unique abilities and resilience. Through supportive recovery, our patients live independent, productive, and meaningful lives.
