Requirements for all positions at Project Reality:

  • Excellent Attendance is a MUST
  • Interested in working with vulnerable and underserved populations
  • If in recovery, must have at least 2+ years of continuous sobriety
  • Abide by all HIPAA and CFR42 laws
  • Provide a respectful, supportive and non-judgmental environment for patients
  • Pass/maintain a Federal Background Check
  • Maintain First Aid/CPR Certification or Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider Card
  • Work well in a team w/strong organizational and communication skills
  • Exhibit a high level of professionalism
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn best practices of care
  • Possess Basic Microsoft Office/Excel skills REQUIRED. Google Workspace is a plus
  • Project Reality is a Drug Free Workplace (Must pass a drug screening test)

As part of our commitment to those affected by substance use disorders, Project Reality is dedicated to providing educational opportunities and professional development to our team and students in our field. We have frontline positions that allow our team members to pursue higher education, develop skills and receive mentorship while gaining hands-on experience and working with vulnerable populations.  We support flexible schedules for our medical assistants attending nursing school and our case managers pursuing degrees in substance use counseling and mental health. 

We are an authorized, accredited location for University of Utah College of Social Work practicum students. We also offer intern placement for Master’s of Social Work, Master’s of Mental Health Counseling, and Substance Use Disorder Counselors from a variety of other accredited programs. Project Reality is proud to have two clinical leaders who began their careers as students in our internship program.

As an authorized site, we are also pleased to support the participation of nurses, therapists, and medical providers in the HRSA/NHSC loan forgiveness programs.
